Personal Information

The following options are available for this category:

• Personal profile:
  • View personal data
  • View bank details
  • View address information and change selected information:
    • All details related to the employee’s personal address
    • Phone release code to declare how much contact information is published on University resources
    • Phone number associated with office address
    • Emergency contact information
  • View communication information:
    • Email address used by IRIS for communications
    • Edison ID Number – used by the State of Tennessee for state benefits
    • Tennessee Unique ID – used internally by UT systems to provide a common identifier
  • View organizational assignment details, including responsible cost center, position number, etc.
  • View education details – this display shows all known degrees for the employee
  • View and change additional personal data:
    • Ethnicity
    • Race classification
    • Veteran status
    • Disability classification
• A link to the Personal Data Form for changing data that is not available in employee self-service. A link to the form instructions is available as well.
• My HR128 Training History – provides a report of classes taken for meeting the HR 128 training guidelines.
• Unlock IRIS user ID – if an IRIS user has locked their password for incorrect logins and then realizes that they know the password, they can come here to unlock it. If the user doesn’t remember their password, resetting their NetID password also resets and unlocks the IRIS password. Also included in this area are password reset instructions and links to the campus user coordinators.
