The IRIS system has been enhanced to alter the way that changes to the ending date on international travel expense reimbursements are being handled. This change only affects international travel.
If the return date and/or time for an international trip must be shortened or extended, you will now:
The date/time entries in the Domestic Arrival fields must be either the same as or earlier than the End of Trip date/time. The Domestic Arrival fields record the traveler’s return to the U.S. and allow for the addition of domestic travel at the end of an international trip.
For more detailed information on how to handle the date/time change, click on Help >> IRIS Help when you are in the TRIP transaction. A window will pop up with documentation. Look for the entry "TRIP – Change Ending Dates for International Travel (Lesson)". This is a step-by-step lesson that includes examples of how to shorten the ending date and how to extend the ending to add one or more additional destinations.
Questions should be directed to the IRIS Helpdesk. |
