SAPGUI version 710 can be downloaded from the University of Tennessee Administrative Portal or the OIT Software Distribution Site. To download the installation file from either site, users will be asked to authenticate with their Net ID and password.

The University of Tennessee Administrative Portal download site provides detailed instructions for downloading and installing the SAPGui (click on the Tools tab and select the Downloads link). PLEASE REVIEW THESE CAREFULLY BEFORE BEGINNING THE INSTALLATION PROCESS.

You will also see a step to update your INI file. It is NOT necessary to install a new INI file unless you are installing SAPGUI on a machine for the first time. If you have questions or need assistance with the SAPGUI installation, please contact the IRIS Helpdesk.

NOTE: This new version of the SAPGUI is for Windows XP as well as Vista, however, it is currently a requirement only for: (1) Vista users or (2) Users who have MS Office 2007 installed and work with embedded spreadsheets in IRIS.
