Inclement Weather Policy for IRIS Training Classes

With winter weather upon us, please be aware that IRIS Training classes will be affected by the Knox County school schedule for inclement weather as follows:

• If Knox County Schools are closed, IRIS Training classes for the day will be cancelled
• If Knox County Schools are delayed, IRIS Training classes will follow the UT inclement weather schedule for that day (for example, if Knox County schools are delayed and UT opens on a delayed schedule, only afternoon classes will be held)

If there is any variance from the above policy, notification will be sent in advance to the participants for those classes. Rescheduling information for cancelled classes will be emailed to registrants as soon as possible. If you are scheduled to attend an IRIS class and are unsure of whether the class will be held, please email the IRIS Helpdesk at irishelpdesk@tennessee.edu.
