IRIS Overview Class Now Online
In response to industry trends, and in an attempt to fill a training gap in our current working environment brought on by the pandemic, we have been working on developing online alternatives to our IRIS classes. We are pleased to announce today that the online version of our IRIS Overview class is now available for completion! Previously offered in an in-person setting in the Knoxville area only, this class is now available for all employees to complete state wide.
The class consists of four individual videos. You can watch them all at once, or view them one at a time as your schedule allows. The videos have been packaged into a curriculum in our K@TE Learning Management System. You can access the curriculum HERE (you may be prompted to authenticate to the K@TE system). If you complete the entire curriculum (i.e. all four videos), you will receive one hour of training credit. The K@TE system will keep track of your completed videos, so there is no pressure to complete the entire curriculum within a certain time frame once you start it.
We are working on additional online offerings for our IRIS classes, and we will announce those when they are available. In the meantime, please feel free to share this link with anyone you know that may be interested in an overview of the IRIS system. You do not have to be an IRIS user to take this class.
If you have any questions about this course, please email K@TE support at AskKate@tennessee.edu.
