Revision of University Purchasing Policy Concerning Tie Bids (2/13/2011)

Treasurer Charles (Butch) Peccolo has announced that the following fiscal policy has been posted.  The policy is effective February 1, 2011, and is now on the policy web site.

FI0410 – Purchasing – Bidding Requirements:  The General Bidding Policies, item 10 has been revised significantly to clearly state how tie bids for goods and services will be broken.

All University business managers whose faculty and staff purchase items on bid should read and understand the guidelines provided in this policy.
