Treasurer Announces Year-end Accounting Close Procedures and Schedule are Available on the Controller’s Office Website

The Controller’s Office has published the Treasurer’s Office’s June 30, 2018, FY18 Closing Procedures for Year Ending June 30, 2018 on the Controller’s Office website at http://controller.tennessee.edu/. For your convenience, the last page (page 8) is a one-page schedule of deadlines for payroll, purchasing, cash deposits, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other activities.

Please note that May 1^st is the deadline for requisitions and supporting documentation to be submitted to Purchasing for purchase orders to encumber funds by June 30^th.

Also available on the website are links to the recently released 2017 UT Audit Report and 2017 State Single Audit (of federal expenditures) and past years’ reports. Sponsors can be referred to these links as needed.
